The Top Flower brands in the Cannabis Industry attended this past week's event, Transbay Challenge 3 Produce by Emerald Farm Tours was held in San Francisco, California and hosted by Jimi Devine. Seven Leaves was honored to be invited for it's first trip at Transbay Challenge 3. Victor Pinho Founder of Emerald Farm Tours says, “Seven Leaves has been producing some of the best fire 🔥🔥🔥 in Northern California for Several Years, love the Bon Bon!” Seven Leaves has grown as one of the Premium Indoor Cannabis Companies in Northern California and it's not looking back . He wanted to find a pain relief in another form, in which he did with Cannabis, he notice after using it that it started to relieve the pain. He wanted to help others, that's why he got in the Cannabis field. He loves Hip Hop Music and traveling with his Girlfriend Madeline.

 My cannabis journey has been a great one, from before recreational use, to the present- I have always loved how much Cannabis can help people through their ailments and how much good the plant does for those who consume it. The fun times, cannabis "culture", great people I meet, and the idea that not only am I living my best life as a consumer, mixed with me helping others live their best lives too is PRICELESS. As I move up the chain in Cannabis, I hope to continue letting myself be the best I can for those I help and keep the bad Cannabis stigmas out of people's thoughts.


As far as outside of Cannabis- I really enjoy collecting Marvel action figures. I also really enjoy great music and events.

Alfredo Botello “Freddy”


We've had the pleasure to have Freddy here at Seven Leaves for the past two years. His Official Job title is  Operations Trainer. Where he meets all new employees, gives them a walkthrough of the facility, procedures and makes sure they know the ins/outs of what it takes to be safe here on the Job. General Manager Brian “Red” Baries, says "Freddy does it all here, he's a team player and is always willing to help everyone out.” Outside of Seven Leaves, Freddy loves to hike with his Girlfriend, watch UFC and is an avid sports fan. His favorite Strain from Seven Leaves, is the Bon Bon. Freddy thank you for all the hard work you do here. 

Back in the Day

The Marijuana Tax Act of 1937 was the first federal U.S. law to criminalize marijuana nationwide. The Act imposed an excise tax on the sale, possession or transfer of all hemp products, effectively criminalizing all but industrial uses of the plant.


Samule R. Caldwell

Did you know?

­Fifty-eight-year-old farmer Samuel Caldwell was the first person prosecuted under the Act. He was arrested for selling marijuana on October 2, 1937, just one day after the Act’s passage. Caldwell was sentenced to four years of hard labor.

The Origin of 420  There are many debates as to what the true story of 420 really is but the most widely known involves non-other than a group of five San Rafael high school teens, nicknamed “The Waldos”, who used to hangout outside their school. After hearing word of a secretly planted cannabis plant hidden within the Point Reyes Forest, the five teens would set off everyday after practice in search for this magical herb. During their school hours, The Waldos would yell at one another “420.Louis” to signify their meet up spot for that day's adventure. Unfortunately for The Waldos, it is said that they never found the plant. Instead, they found something a bit more valuable than a hidden cannabis plant–that being the term 420.
